SAP meldet im dritten Quartal ein anhaltendes Wachstum des Cloud-Auftragsbestands

SAP’s recent quarterly results landed with the cloud revenue growth the market expected, but the detail worth attention is how the Autonomous Enterprise messaging is now showing up in actual customer behaviour. When a positioning shift moves from keynote slides to procurement decisions, it changes the composition of project teams.

We placed two senior solution architects this quarter whose roles centred on integrating SAP’s AI capabilities into core business processes as a production requirement. One hiring manager in Munich told us the role was created because their S/4HANA programme had stalled waiting for someone who could bridge the gap between their Basis team and a newly hired data science function.

Cloud backlog growth at SAP has a direct translation into headcount demand. Companies are looking for consultants who can design the automation layer that sits on top of standard modules. Treasury, procurement, and finance teams are asking for candidates who understand both the SAP transaction logic and the machine learning models that run against it.

For experienced SAP professionals, depth in one module is a foundation, and the roles attracting the strongest interest add data architecture or AI integration skills to that base. The searches we are running in Frankfurt, Zurich, and Vienna consistently ask for candidates who can move between technical SAP work and the strategic conversations that automation projects require. Companies are paying a premium for that pairing, and the supply has not caught up with the demand.
