Job Title: Technical SAP VIM Consultant (Freelance & Permanent)

About the role:

We’re looking for a hands-on technical VIM specialist who can implement, integrate, and stabilise OpenText VIM in real project environments. You’ll work closely with SAP Finance/AP, Procurement, and technical teams to design the solution, build it, and get it live.

What you’ll be doing (typical tasks):

• Deliver end-to-end OpenText VIM implementations (design → build → go-live → hypercare)
• Configure workflows, approval paths, exceptions, validations, and business rules
• Own the technical setup and integration points (SAP FI/AP, document capture/OCR, email intake, archiving)
• Troubleshoot and resolve interface issues, errors, logs, and performance topics
• Support testing (SIT/UAT), cutover planning, documentation, and handover to support teams

Key requirements:

• Strong technical VIM delivery experience in client projects (implementation, not just support)
• Solid understanding of AP processes and SAP FI touchpoints
• Comfortable working across configuration integration troubleshooting
• Consulting mindset: structured, proactive, client-facing
• German B2+

Nice to have:

• Experience with S/4HANA finance transformations
• Familiarity with e-invoicing / compliance topics
• Exposure to SAP Ariba (invoice/process integration)
